Destinations
See Uganda close up and personal with this intimate small group private comfort tour. This tour covers it all, from spending time with a family of mountain gorillas, or game driving to find the elusive tree climbing lions, or simply just relax and enjoy the views passing by as you travel on some of the most scenic roads Africa has to offer. You will also meet what is considered, the friendliest nation, and learn about the different cultures in Uganda.
Once you arrive at Entebbe Airport, we will meet you and transfer you to your guest house.
Entebbe is just a short drive from the current capital and is located on a peninsula in Lake Victoria, the former seat of Uganda’s government. From here, you can explore the surrounding area from the comfort of this charming town, which features tree-lined streets. Visit the stunning Botanical Gardens or wander through the fields and forests of Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for orphaned chimpanzees, to spend days on beautiful beaches along Lake Victoria’s shores.

Lake Mburo is our destination for the day, so we have an early start. We will stop for lunch along the way at the equator. Our lodge tonight is situated on top of a rock formation. You can hike to a viewpoint in the evening, go on a game drive outside the park, or just sit back and enjoy the view.

Continuing westward through Uganda’s tea plantations, forests, and farmlands, we’ll continue until we reach our lodge for the night. Lunch will be served at your lodge when you arrive. You can spend the afternoon observing local communities by walking or biking around the lake or enjoy an optional paddle boat trip on the lake. In addition to enjoying the stunning views of the lake from the lodge grounds, you can also relax on the lawn.

One Activity at Lake Mulehe
An early morning canoe trip at Lake Mulehe before we journey around and through Bwindi Forest to the Buhoma area of the forest. Here we’ll check-in to our guesthouse. Sahaya Rafiki Guesthouse is park of a non-profit organization which works to help protect mountain gorillas and work with the local Batwa community. In the late afternoon you’ll go on a guided walk to visit the Batwa, learn about their traditional ways and discover the challenges they face in the modern world.

The day has finally arrived! A briefing from your ranger will prepare you for your trek in search of the gorilla group that has already been booked for you. There is no set length for the walk, but it usually takes between 30 minutes and 4 hours. If you’re lucky, you’ll come across the majestic beasts at the end of all the hard work, steep terrain, lush vegetation, and wet weather! As you follow them through the forest, you will observe their day-to-day activities at close quarters for one hour. You will remember the memories forever.
The trek will be followed by a drive down to the plains of Ishasha, where we will reach your lodge in the evening after the trek is over.

Gorilla Trekking, Game Drive
It is not possible for you to visit if you are sick. Considering the close relationship between gorillas and humans, they can catch all our diseases but may not be able to recover from them. We must ensure their safety. In order to complete this trek, you’ll need to be in good shape. Long trousers, a waterproof jacket, and good walking shoes are essentials. The camera you use must be able to turn off the flash so that you can take photographs. There’s nothing worse than walking near a 400lb gorilla who’s freaked out by flash photography.
We will take a morning game drive before traveling to the Kasenyi area of the park through the conservation area. Your boat trip will take place in the Kazinga channel. After the boat cruise, we continue our travel with a packed lunch. A game drive can be taken in the evening once we get back to our lodge.

Most nationalities get a visa on arrival (check requirements). The Kaza Univisa (USD $50) covers Zambia & Zimbabwe for 30 days.
South Africa is called the Rainbow Nation because of its rich mix of cultures, languages, and ethnic groups. The term, made popular by Archbishop Desmond Tutu, celebrates the country's diversity and unity after apartheid—where people of all backgrounds live and thrive together.
Expect impromptu village stops, visits to traditional markets, and encounters with artisans (weavers, silk-scarf makers). In Anja, local community reserves protect lemurs while creating livelihoods—meaningful, grassroots conservation in action.
Should you be arriving from or transitioning through a country with a risk of yellow fever transmission, you are required to present a valid yellow fever vaccination certificate, issued at least 10 days before arrival. This is applicable to travellers ages one year and above.
Yes, group overland tours are popular and range from 7-day circuits to epic multi-country journeys. It’s a great way to experience the highlights of Namibia and beyond.
